A bit about Vixen 

Born in Canada to an AKC Dam and a CKC Sire. Vixen became my start in the breed. Despite earning both majors by 1 year old Vixen didn’t finish her CH till she was 3 years old. But while we waited for the points to line up for her CH we got many other titles including but not limited to all 3 levels of CGC, 2 levels of Rally, Farm Dog and more.

Vixen’s Namesake 

    When Vixen came to me from Canada she was 4 months old, we decided to keep her litter name as to not confuse her. Vixen was the pick of the litter and in the words of her breeder was a “spitfire”. She beautifully meets the dictionary characteristics of a Vixen “a spirited or fierce woman, especially one seen as attractive.”

    For her Registered name we wanted to play off the idea of her being a “Vixen at the ball” because of the first picture we ever saw of her at 6 weeks old. In the picture she was standing next to a soccer ball that looks huge against her and she had a gorgeous mask that covered most of her face. After much debate and shortening of the name we landed on Karleo’s Pyradigm Masquerade.
