A bit about Pricket 

Pricket is my first bred-by dog, he was shown exclusively in the bred-by class to his CH. At just over 6 months old Pricket went into the Owner Handled groups and took an Owner Handled group 2 over a large working group. Pricket took best of opposite in sweep and best bred-by exhibitor at the 2024 GPCA national specialty in Asheville, NC. Pricket earned his CH going winners dog at the 2025 PFNE regional specialty. He then went to take select dog at the GPCA regional specialty held in conjunction with the national specialty. We will be taking a short break from conformation to allow Pricket to mature before campaigning him. In the meantime we will be focusing on maturing his mind with obedience centric activities.

Pricket’s Namesake 

    Abacuk Pricket was Henry Hudson’s navigator, and it is through his journal that we know the details of the days leading up to and following Henry’s disappearance. 

I lost my first sport dog Hudson about 2 weeks before Pricket’s litter turned 8 weeks old. I wanted more than anything for my old man to help me teach this new puppy, with him no longer here I wanted to keep him with me in a more unique way. Pricket’s registered name is a play off Hudson’s registered name.
